Support areas

I support clients to learn and practice skills and activities involved in daily living.

Around the house this might include:

·         Meal planning/preparation and cooking

·         Cleaning, tidying and sorting

·         Planning, organising and list-writing (e.g. for tasks to be completed or shopping)

·         Laundry

·         Hobbies, arts and crafts

·         Personal grooming and care

·         Technology use (e.g. setting up new phone or appliance and learning how to use it)

·         Life admin skills, e.g. learning how to use and manage calendars, alarm clocks and timers

·         Paying bills

·         Booking appointments

·         Support to remember medication

Outside the house this might include:

·         Using public transport

·         Using services at a post office or bank

·         Accessing library services

·         Shopping (e.g. groceries, pharmacy, clothing etc.)

·         Money handling

I provide support with social and community participation, including:

·         Conversation and engagement

·         Engaging with work and volunteering

·         Attending appointments

·         Sports and outdoor leisure activities (e.g. ball sports, aerobie, daily exercises, walks)

·         Attending gyms and aquatic centres
